3 Doors Down - Seventeen Days (Virtual Surround) [ADHDerby] Virtual Surround is a technology which allows you to listen to music, watch movies, or play video games with surround effects using any set of two channel stereo headphones. I'm a big surround music fan and made this album so I can listen it in surround through headphones on a portable player. The sources of this release are surround versions of the tracks (MLP 5.1) ripped from the DVD-A side of the DualDisc release. I've converted them to virtual surround with Creative's BlasterX Acoustic Engine Pro. Using state-of-the-art technology, it gives an enhanced virtual 7.1 channel surround sound experience with regular stereo headphones. Genre: Rock, Pop Style: Alternative Rock, Pop Rock DVD-A Release Date: August 9, 2005 Original Release Date: Feb 8, 2005 Label: Republic Records B000470082 Source: DVD-A 96/24 5.1 MLP Resampler: Adobe Audition Sample rate: 44100 Hz Bits per sample: 16 Codec: FLAC Seventeen Days is the third studio album by American rock band 3 Doors Down, released on February 8, 2005, five years to the day that 3 Doors Down released their debut album, The Better Life. It is 3 Doors Down's first album in the three years since 2002's Away from the Sun. It topped the chart on the Billboard 200 soon after it was released. Bob Seger sings a duet with lead singer, Brad Arnold, on the song "Landing in London". Additional notes: - Many people believe the album was written by the band in seventeen days, hence the name of the album, but this is not true. The name was created because the band only had 17 days off from the end of their "Away from the Sun" tour and being back in the studio to work on their new album. - Seventeen Days was certified platinum just a month after its release. - "Behind Those Eyes" was used as one of two theme songs for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) event, WrestleMania 21. - This is the only studio album to feature drummer Daniel Adair, who left the group to join Nickelback.
